Vulvar lichen sclerosus (VLS) is a chronic inflammatory dermatosis characterized by ivory-white commonly affecting the anogenital region. It may cause substantial discomfort due to the intractable itching and soreness, while thinning and shrinkage of the genital area make coitus, urination, and defecation painful.
